The Life and Times of Jack Bishop Edit

Jack Bishop grew up firmly entrenched in the 1980s, the height of Reagan-dominated culture. He always knew he wanted to become a soldier and stick it to the "godless commies". Unfortunately for him, by the time he entered military service, the Berlin Wall had come down, and the Soviet Union was soon to become Russia again. He was able to take part in Operation Desert Storm, and quickly showed an aptitude for special operations.

The exact nature of his activities from the end of that conflict until recently are classified. What is known is that he was recently tapped by a secret branch of Homeland Security to lead a team of specialists devoted to containing and/or eliminating the ever increasing paranormal threat to life and liberty in the United States.

During the initial encounter with the entity known as Nesariel, Jack Bishop was separated from the rest of the team. He was told by the entity that he "didn't know who he worked for", that he would be "dead within two years" due to liver failure, that his "childhood was taken away far too soon", and that he was being "given another chance" but at what he would consider a price. As that "price" he was transformed into a teenage girl, but told to consider it a "blessing and opportunity".

It was decided within the team that Lt. Bishop should pose as the girl he appeared to be, and was assisted by Falchionne (who took him shopping and has been teaching him "how to be a girl"). He was also stripped of command over the team by Director Shelby.

Jack Bishop is extremely devoted to the men and women under his command, but has an unfortunate habit of drinking just a bit too much and getting into fights. It is the latter that has kept him from advancing further in his military career.
